The junior section of the club have been battling hard in the CSSAL
athletics league but need vital points to keep them high up the table. The
CSSAL also has senior track and field events for club members which add to
the points, and even just taking part will give them a boost. How about
giving yourself a new challenge, or relive your school sports day memories
and take part in one or two of them? Events include 100m, 400m, hurdles,
relay, javelin, high jump, shot putt and long jump. Whilst it is
competitive, those of us who took part last year had a lot of fun (apart
from the aches and pains the next day) and helped save the team from
relegation.

The next event is on Sunday 27th June at Linwood. There is a bus going at
9.15am from the grammar school. If you are interested in taking part then
let Maureen or Scott know at the club.
