Just to remind everyone that we will be hosting our leg of the Borders Cross-Country series on Sunday 13th December, so will be looking for marshals (and also helpers to mark out the course). Please remember that this event cannot go ahead without marshals over the whole course (not everyone can marshal at the start unfortunately). Anne has given notice that she is stepping down from the group and is looking for someone who would be happy to represent Dunbar Running Club at the meetings (usually four a year plus the AGM). If anyone is interested and would like further information, please contact Anne as soon as possible.

Well, the results of another highly scientific poll are in…. and what an ungrateful bunch we are! Only 34% of respondents keep and cherish all those hard earned medals, while 45% of us bung ‘em in a drawer. A surprising 10% of us regard them as useless clutter and dispose of them while 9% at least keep the ones that are “special”. All makes you wonder why race organisers bother…
